Cyber Monday = Mobile Monday
According to a report released this week by IBM, “Cyber Monday mobile traffic accounted for 41.2 percent of all online traffic, up 30.1 percent over 2013.” Gone are the days when you had to target your consumer in store or while they were at work on their desktop, mobile is where you will find your consumer, shopping when they want and where they want. Does this mark a new era in the online shopping industry?

‘Tis the season
With competition heating up over the holiday’s, brands are getting creative about reinventing their digital marketing strategies. Target took a new approach to their holiday campaign this season and created a mobile website with six mobile games. Not only are they hoping to drive more consumers to their online store but they will be running in-store promotions where users can gain access to codes to unlock special bonus content within their games.

Are new moms the new mobile gamers?
You might not expect this, but a mobile game might be at the top of the new mom’s wish list. Game publisher WildTangent released a study this week finding that 76% of mother’s play mobile games while their infant naps during the day.
